Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete reimbursement with the exception of service fees

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card operations

Conditions: Request must be submitted formally through email or telephone communication

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half the amount of the total charter fee

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the reimbursement amount

Conditions: Justified reason required; administrative charges apply

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No refund option available

Exception: We may consider extreme circumstances

Alternative: The possibility of a charter credit is at our discretion

Conditions: Supporting documents needed for emergencies

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Safety remains our utmost concern. In the case of unsafe weather conditions for sailing as determined by our accredited captain, we propose adaptable options:

  • Full Refund: Issued fully if rescheduling proves impractical
  • Reschedule: Transfer your booking to an available date with no extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Obtain a credit valid for one year from the original charter date

Weather Assessment Process

The evaluation of weather conditions encompasses the following:

  • Evaluation of wind strength and its direction
  • Sea state and swell magnitude
  • Forecasts for visibility and precipitation
  • Notices and directives from the Coast Guard
  • Assessment of safety by the professional captain

Decision Timeline: Determinations regarding weather-related cancellations are made at least 4 hours prior to the planned departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Circumstances

We recognize that unexpected medical emergencies may happen. Situations that might be eligible for special refund considerations include:

  • Sudden severe illness or injury needing hospital care
  • A death occurrence within the immediate family
  • Unanticipated military requisition or urgent recall
  • Jury duty or unforeseen legal summons
  • Environmental catastrophes affecting travel routes

Documentation Requirements

To handle requests for refunds due to emergencies, please supply:

  • Medical confirmation or hospital reports
  • Mortality documentation (if applicable)
  • Military mandate or order
  • Legal subpoena or notice for jury duty
  • Announcements for travel restrictions or emergencies

Processing: We endeavor to process refunds pertaining to emergencies within 3-5 working days after all necessary paperwork is received.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Issues

In the event where your designated vessel experiences technical malfunctions that remain unfixable:

  • Alternative Vessel: We will make efforts to offer an equivalent substitution
  • Full Refund: Granted when an adequate substitute is unavailable
  • Partial Refund: Issued if the alternate boat comes with different pricing
  • Compensation: Additional recompense may be considered for the inconveniences caused

Crew Unavailability

On rare occasions when certified crew members cannot be provided:

  • Efforts will be made to arrange for an alternate crew
  • Entire refund provided if the charter cannot proceed
  • Option to reschedule without incurring extra costs

Refund Processing

Payment Method

Reimbursements will revert to the original payment method you employed at the time of reservation:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Credit Card Processing

€50 charge for cancelations requested more than 72 hours before

Bank Transfer Processing

€25 fee applicable to all bank transfer refunds

International Processing

Additional fees may be incurred for international refund transactions

Charter Credits

When Credits Are Offered

In certain cases, charter credits might be presented in lieu of refunds:

  • Late cancellations (fewer than 24 hours notice)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Customer requests for rescheduling
  • Disruptions in charter operations

Credit Terms

  • Validity: 12 months following issuance
  • Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to others
  • Value: Corresponds to the complete value of the charter without deduction of service charges
  • Usage: Applicable to any future available charters
  • Expiration: Credits must be used within one year without the possibility of extension

Partial Service Refunds

Service Interruptions

In the occurrence where your charter is curtailed or interrupted due to reasons within our sphere of influence:

  • A proportional refund in accordance with the untouched charter duration
  • Certificate for a subsequent equivalent charter experience
  • Gratuitous additional services or enhancements

Guest-Related Interruptions

Should the charter be prematurely concluded due to guest behaviors or violations concerning safety:

  • No reimbursement for remaining contract time
  • Complete payment is still mandatory
  • Costs for additional charges may be applied

Dispute Resolution

In the event of disagreement with a refund judgment, you may:

  • Ask for a re-evaluation by our administrative team
  • Present extra documentation or proof
  • Engage consumer rights organizations for resolution
  • Consider legal avenues per the applicable laws

We will acknowledge receipt of your query within a day, assess it in comparison to the policy, make a determination within two days, and proceed with the reimbursement as swiftly as the prescribed timelines permit, should it be approved.

Important Notes

  • All refund petitions need to be put forth in a written format
  • Reimbursements will be conducted in €, regardless of the original transaction currency
  • We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance
  • Notice is given that this policy is subject to modification with a forewarning of 30 days
  • Reimbursements will be subject to relevant taxes and governance
